Hockey Accomplishments
Senior Season
Brandon was a key member of the 2023 – 2024 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Varsity Tournament Champions.
Brandon set personal career highs in goals with ten, in assists with nine, and in total points with nineteen.
Brandon set a personal career high with 32 penalty minutes which was second on the team.
Brandon scored twice and added two assists in Upper Montgomery’s thrashing of Wootton for the Montgomery Hockey Conference Varsity Tournament Championship.
Brandon had two goals and an assist in Upper Montgomery’s destruction of Northwest / Quince Orchard in the quarterfinal round of the Montgomery Hockey Conference varsity tournament.
Brandon dished out three assists in Upper Montgomery’s semifinal win over Sherwood in the Montgomery Hockey Conference varsity tournament.
Brandon had a goal and an assist in Upper Montgomery’s stomping of Churchill 2.
Brandon had a goal and added an assist against Sherwood.
Brandon scored in his final high school hockey game in Upper Montgomery’s thrashing of Wootton for the Montgomery Hockey Conference Varsity Tournament Championship.

Junior Season
Brandon set career highs in multiple offensive categories during his junior season.
Brandon had a four point game with one goal and three assists against Blair in the Montgomery Hockey Conference division two playoff quarterfinal game.
Brandon scored nine goals for the varsity and added six assists to finish the season with fifteen points.
Brandon scored two shorthanded goals.
Brandon began the season by scoring in his first four games of the season.
Sophomore Season
Brandon led the Lightning junior varsity in points with fifteen winning the Art Ross trophy.
Brandon was the Maryland Student Hockey League junior varsity assist leader with nine.
Brandon was a key member of the 2021 – 2022 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Junior Varsity Champions.
Brandon had a four point game versus Frederick County with two goals and two assists. The scoring performance tied the program record for most points in a game for the Upper Montgomery junior varsity.
Brandon is the Upper Montgomery Lightning all time goals leader for the junior varsity with nine.
9th Grade Season
Brandon scored two goals in his first varsity game including the game winning goal in a win against Sherwood.
Brandon scored a hat trick in his first junior varsity high school game versus Rockville/Magruder including the game winning goal in the third period.
Brandon was awarded the Maurice Richard Award for most goals scored for the Lightning junior varsity.
Outside of High School Hockey
Brandon plays forward for the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils 18U AA travel team. Prior to re-joining the Ice Devils, Brandon played center for the Tri-City Eagles 16U Upper A travel team. Prior to joining the Tri-City program, Brandon played center for the Frederick Freeze 16U Lower A travel team which competed in the Eastern Junior Elite Prospect League. Prior to joining the Freeze program, he played center on the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils Lower A 14U and 12U travel teams in the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League.
Brandon is heavily involved in advancing access for minority participation in ice hockey as part of the Panthers Black Hockey Team and the 43Oak Foundation.
Brandon was on the Philadelphia’s Liberty Cup Spring Classic II 14U Championship team in 2021.
Brandon was on the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association House League 10U Finalist team in 2017.
Brandon was on the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association House League 10U Championship team in 2016.
