Hockey Accomplishments
Senior Season
George was elected Team Captain for the Upper Montgomery’s Lightning Varsity squad.
George set career highs in goals with five, assists with ten, and points with fifteen.
For the second consecutive season, George led the Lightning in penalty minutes with 64, twice as many as the next highest total on the team.
George had three assists versus Northwest, setting a career high in assists in a game.
George had a goal and three assists versus Northwest, setting a career high of four points in a game.
George received the Hobey Baker award that recognizes character and leadership in hockey and academics.
Junior Season
George was elected Team Captain for the Upper Montgomery’s Lightning Varsity squad.
George scored his first varsity goal, a powerplay goal in the win against Whitman.
George led the Lightning in penalty minutes with 40.
George was a key member of the 2021 – 2022 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Junior Varsity Champions.
Sophomore Season
George was limited to only four games during his sophomore season.
9th Grade Season
George played in 12 games during his 9th grade season notching his first career point, an assist against Richard Montgomery.
Outside of High School Hockey
George will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall.
George was on the Southeastern Regional Championship team in the 2021 Silver Sticks Tournament.
George was on the Eastern Junior Elite Prospect League Finalist team in 2021.
George was on two Chesapeake Bay Hockey League Regular Season Championship teams, in 2020 and in 2017.
George was the Most Valuable Player at the 2019 Big Bear President’s Day Tournament.
