Hockey Accomplishments
Junior Season
Henry was a key member of the 2023 – 2024 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Varsity Tournament Champions.
Henry set personal career highs in goals with seven, assists with eight, and in points with fifteen.
Henry dished out four assists in the Lightning’s destruction of Northwest / Quince Orchard in the quarterfinal round of the Montgomery Hockey Conference varsity tournament. The four points were a career high.
Henry had a goal and two assists against Sherwood.
Henry scored twice in Upper Montgomery’s shutout victory over Blair.
Henry had a goal and added an assist in Upper Montgomery’s upset victory over 2nd ranked Walter Johnson.
Henry had a goal and an assist in the Lightning’s varsity tournament championship win over Wootton. In the three tournament games, Henry had three goals and five assists. He scored in all three tournament games.
Henry led the Upper Montgomery varsity in penalty minutes with 36.
Henry played in all 21 varsity games this season.
Sophomore Season
Henry set several junior varsity program records during his sophomore season.
Henry scored five goals against Carroll County setting the junior varsity program record for goals in a game.
Henry’s twelve goals in the season were a junior varsity program record.
Henry had six points in the win over Carroll County setting the junior varsity program record for points in a game, five goals and one assist.
Henry received by the Maurice Richard award for most goals during the season for the junior varsity and the Art Ross award for most points during the season.
Henry’s 17 points on the season for the junior varsity were a program record.
Henry led the junior varsity with two shorthanded goals.
Henry scored his first career varsity goal in a victory over Blair.
Henry set a personal career high with four assists and five points for the varsity.
9th Grade Season
Henry was a key member of the 2021 – 2022 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Junior Varsity Champions.
Henry’s first career high school goal was a shorthanded goal for the junior varsity scored against Walter Johnson.
Henry appeared in ten games for the varsity during his 9th grade season.
Henry played in thirteen games for the junior varsity during his 9th grade season.
Outside of High School Hockey
Henry plays center for the Frederick Freeze 18U Upper A travel team. Last season, Henry was a center on the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils 16U Lower A travel team. Prior to playing at the 16U level, Henry played for the Ice Devils 14U Lower A travel team.
