9th Grade Season
Ilan was a member of the 2023 – 2024 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Varsity Tournament Champions.
Ilan’s first varsity win was in an upset over 2nd ranked Walter Johnson.
Playing for the Lightning junior varsity, Ilan set or tied several program records.
Ilan tied for the most wins by a junior varsity goalie in a season with eight.
Ilan’s eight wins tied for the league lead in junior varsity in the Montgomery Hockey Conference and the Maryland Scholastic Hockey League.
Ilan had the best winning percentage in junior varsity program history at .850.
Ilan had the most shutouts by a goalie in junior varsity program history with three.
Ilan had the lowest goals against average by a goalie in junior varsity program history at 1.80 goals per game.
Ilan has the highest save percentage by a goalie in junior varsity program history at .927.

Ilan plays goalie for the Tri-City Eagles 16U AA travel team. Prior to moving over to the Eagles program, Ilan played goalie for the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils 14U Upper A travel team. Prior to jumping up into the 14U age bracket, Ilan played for the Ice Devils 12U AA travel team.
Ilan was on the Atlantic Hockey Federation 14U Gretzky Cup finalist team.
Ilan was on the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League 14U Conference finalist team.
Ilan was on the Silver Stick Columbia Regional Championship 14U team that advanced to the Silver Stick International Tournament in Port Huron, Michigan.
llan was on the Iron City Cup 14U championship team.
Ilan was named first team goalie on the Atlantic Hockey Federation all conference team.
Ilan was on the Empire State Cup 13U finalist team.
Ilan was on the Music City Cup 12U championship team.
Ilan was on the Congressional Cup 12U finalist team.
Ilan serves as a young ambassador for the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation (New York Rangers). His service project raised over $14,000 to fund physical therapy adaptive dream bikes for children with disabilities.
Ilan serves on the National Hockey League’s Power Players Youth Advisory Board.
