Outside of High School Hockey
James plays forward for the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils 18U House team. He previously played for the Ice Devils 14U and 12U House teams.
As a member of the Montgomery Cheetahs he has traveled to play in tournaments in Lake Placid, New York, Toronto, Canada, West Orange, New Jersey, and Jamestown, New York.
