Hockey Accomplishments

Senior Season

Joshua was an Alternate Captain for the Upper Montgomery Lightning Junior Varsity squad.

Joshua was a key member of the 2021 – 2022 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Junior Varsity Champions.

Joshua led the junior varsity in goals with eight earning the junior varsity Maurice Rocket Richard Award.

Joshua’s most memorable goal with Upper Montgomery would be the team’s second goal of the Junior Varsity Championship game versus Richard Montgomery. Joshua’s deflection of a waist high shot floated over the outstretched arm of the Rockets’ goalie and into the top corner of the net. His goal gave the Lightning a 2-0 lead midway through the third period and the goal would wind up the eventual game winner.

Joshua notched his third career varsity goal against Wilson.

Junior Season

Joshua did not participate with the Upper Montgomery Lightning program during his junior season.

Sophomore Season

Against increased competition with the move to Montgomery Hockey Conference’s top division, Joshua was a valued depth forward. He notched his second career high school goal in a win against Whitman.

9th Grade Season

Joshua played in 12 games during his 9th grade season notching his first career point, a goal in his first career game in a win over Walter Johnson.

Joshua was a member of the Damascus Coop High School team that won the Montgomery Hockey Conference Division 2 Championship.

Outside of High School Hockey

For years, Joshua played forward for the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils House program competing at the 14U, 12U, and 10U levels.

Joshua was on the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association 14U House Championship team in 2018.

Joshua was awarded the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Paul McKenzie Sportsmanship First Award in 2015.
