Hockey Accomplishments
Senior Season
Landon was a key member of the 2023 – 2024 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Varsity Tournament Champions.
Landon set a personal career high with a save percentage of .874.
Landon stopped a personal career high of 459 shots on goal.
Landon shutout Blair on senior night.
Landon made a career high 44 saves in Upper Montgomery’s playoff game against Whitman.
Landon won four of his last five starts.
Landon won his final high school hockey game in Upper Montgomery’s thrashing of Wootton for the Montgomery Hockey Conference Varsity Tournament Championship. He concluded the march through the tournament giving up two goals in seven periods of play.
Junior Season
Landon led the Montgomery Hockey Conference Division One goalies with six regular season wins.
Landon set a career high with eight total varsity victories.
Statistically, Landon had major improvements from his junior season in both goals against average at 3.65 and save percentage at .866.
In the varsity playoffs, Landon played amazingly well leading the Montgomery Hockey Conference with a 0.98 goals against average and a .966 save percentage.
Landon earned shutouts against Northwest in varsity competition and the DC Stars in junior varsity competition.
Landon had an assist in the victory over Northwest for his first career point.
Sophomore Season
Landon was the Maryland Student Hockey League junior varsity wins leader with eight.
Landon was a key member of the 2021 – 2022 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Junior Varsity Champions. He stopped 19 of 20 shots in the Championship game win over Richard Montgomery.
Landon is the Upper Montgomery Lightning all time wins leader for the junior varsity with nine.
Landon recorded his first varsity win in a 6-3 victory over the West Virginia Vipers.
Landon won his last six junior varsity games.
9th Grade Season
Landon recorded a win in his first high school game, a 5-4 junior varsity victory over Rockville/Magruder.
Outside of High School Hockey
Landon plays goalie for the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils 18U AA travel team. Prior to re-joining the Ice Devils, Landon played goalie for the Tri-City Eagles 16U Upper A travel team which competed in the Eastern Junior Elite Prospect League. Prior to joining the Tri-City program, Landon played goalie for the Frederick Freeze 16U Lower A travel team which also competed in the Eastern Junior Elite Prospect League. Prior to joining the Freeze program, he played goalie on the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils Lower A 14U and 12U travel teams in the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League.
Landon is heavily involved in advancing access for minority participation in ice hockey as part of the Panthers Black Hockey Team and the 43Oak Foundation.
Won Philadelphia’s Liberty Cup Spring Classic II 14U Championship in 2021.
Montgomery Youth Hockey Association House League 10U Finalist in 2017.
Won Montgomery Youth Hockey Association House League 10U Championship in 2016.
