Philip led the Upper Montgomery Lightning in scoring with 22 points on the season.
Philip was second on the Lightning varsity with fourteen assists.
Philip dished out three assists in Upper Montgomery’s early season win over Northwest / Quince Orchard.
Philip tied for the team lead with two game winning goals.
Philip scored both of Upper Montgomery’s goals in the Montgomery Hockey Conference varsity tournament semifinal against Blair. His offense helped push the Lightning into overtime where the Blazers eventually prevailed.
Through three varsity season, Philip has played in 49 games, scored 28 goals, and assisted on 33 goals for 61 points.
Sophomore Season
Philip was a key member of the 2023 – 2024 Upper Montgomery Lightning Montgomery Hockey Conference Varsity Tournament Champions.
Philip set personal career highs in goals with thirteen, in assists with twelve, and in points with 25.
Philip finished second on the team in goals and third on the team in points.
Philip scored twice in the Lightning’s upset victory over 2nd ranked Walter Johnson.
Philip scored twice and added an assist in Upper Montgomery’s decisive win against Churchill 2.
Philip scored twice in Upper Montgomery’s hard fought victory over Whitman.
Philip had a goal and two assists in the Lightning’s come from behind overtime win against Rockville / Magruder.
Philip dished out three assists in Upper Montgomery’s destruction of Northwest / Quince Orchard in the quarterfinal round of the Montgomery Hockey Conference varsity tournament.
Philip dished out three assists in Upper Montgomery’s semifinal win over Sherwood in the Montgomery Hockey Conference varsity tournament.

9th Grade Season

Outside of High School Hockey
Philip played forward for the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils 16U Upper A travel team. Prior to rising to the 16U age group, Philip played for the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association Ice Devils 14U and 12U Upper A travel teams.
